At the market, one gets to see a lot of cookware being promoted. When I was there a few weeks ago, there was this demo on using earthen cookware. The promoter showed the ladies present how to make spinach flavoured green rice using the pot. I wasn't in the pot but the rice. The spinach flavour will enhance the taste of the rice.

last week at a fair, i saw this kerepek bayam. seems that they put batter on a pieace of bayam and deep fried to become kerepek. Taste good, but instead i bought a packet of kerepek kaduk (daun kaduk).
Wow! Traders are becoming more and more creative to cater to the taste buds of their customers.
