I had been reading about the plans for a musical fountain in Ipoh since last year. The site for this new tourist attraction is said to be the park outside the Ipoh Railway Station. I went there to have a looksee recently and saw construction work being done. If my memory does not fail me, I think I read somewhere that this fountain is supposed to be ready somewhere in July this year. It is July now but there is no sign of this anticipated water feature for my hometown yet.
Thankfully, the historical Epoh tree which the city is named, is still there. Actually what used to be the park is gone, all except the treee. Thank God for that. It'd break my heart to see the tree being cut down
