NYONYA CHANG


My cousin sister, Nyuk Wei, brought some Nyonya Chang or Nyonya Dumplings from Malacca when she came for my mum's funeral during the weekend. Now this type of dumpling is special as the glutinous rice is dyed blue with bunga telang (butterfly pea flower) and one of the ingredients is cekur.  I did not eat it as it had meat inside.  My cousin said that there is a vegetarian type as well.  If you wish to learn how to make it, then click this LINK.
