INTRODUCING THE "GIVE BOX"
I read about the wonderful idea of the Give Box in the Sunday Star. This Give Box started in Berlin, Germany and looks something like a walk-in wardrobe filled with clothes, books, household items, etc which are put there by people. Anybody can put useful items that they do not need in the Give Box and take things out.
The idea is easy, "unwanted things find new owners and in giving not only taking, the box remains constantly filled and attracts people to check it out on a regular basis". The Give Boxes that I managed to find on the Internet are usually decorated with wallpaper with shelves to store items, and rails on which to hang clothes. The term “freecycling” is associated to the concept of the Give Box.
