I read an article in the Star Newspaper about a shop in Ipoh selling Angry Birds Pau or Buns and wanted to buy some for my nephew and niece, James and Jamie who is back for the weekend. My mum, aunt, sister and I spent about an hour yesterday afternoon to look for the shop but couldn't find it.
Finally, I managed to get the contact number of the shop from the Internet and my sister called to get instructions to the place. Finally we found it this afternoon. Unfortunately, James and Jamie had gone to Penang for a vacation with their parents. They will be back on Tuesday morning and so I will be getting the buns for them then. Anyway, I will go tomorrow morning to buy some of these cute buns for my nephews and niece who are coming from Singapore for a visit. So I will blog more about the buns tomorrow.
The shop is not open on Sunday but still I felt happy that I found it.
Besides the famous buns, the shop is famous for the seafood noodles. Will give them a try tomorrow.
Altogether there are 28 cartoon designs for the buns. I heard that they are vegetarian but then I need to confirm this when I go there tomorrow.
