STEFANIE SUN REMOVES TRADEMARK MOLE

The singer was said to have removed her mole in hopes of getting a baby next year

Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun, who has a mole at the right corner of her eye, would use make-up to conceal the mole when she first entered showbiz.

If the rumour mill is right, she no longer needs to worry about it.

Stefanie had reportedly removed the mole recently on the advice of a fengshui master who said that it would help her in conceiving a baby next year. 2012 is the year of the dragon according to the Chinese lunar calendar.

While attending a press conference in Beijing recently, Stefanie had her hair bundled up and her mole had indeed disappeared.

According to Chinese beliefs, the mole is known as the "phoenix mole", and will help one enhance their social and love life.

It is believed that the mole is Stefanie's lucky charm and helped her achieve and maintain superstardom for the past 10 years.

The mole had reportedly attracted a male fan with similar facial feature to fork out thousands of dollars to meet her.

Stefanie's record company had turned down the meeting request from the fan, who believed that the facial mole was an indication that he and Stephanie were meant to be together.

While a good luck charm for her love life, the mole is said to be bad for marriage.

Fortune tellers claimed that the mole causes "rough relationship and bad couple relations."

When pressed to respond on the matter, the singer's manager did not deny the news, but said that she is unable to reach Stefanie who is currently on a family holiday in Europe.
