COMPUTER MOUSE

The prototype for the computer mouse was invented by Douglas Englebart at the Stanford Research Institute in 1963. Yeah! As early as that. Engelbart had assistantce from his colleague Bill English. They christened the device the mouse as early models had a cord attached to the rear part of the device looking like a tail and generally resembling the common mouse. LINK
Fancy having a really mouse-like looking mouse as a pointing device for your computer? Me? NOOOO ... I feel squeamish just looking at the picture.
