TECHNICAL HELP FROM MY STUDENTS

Yesterday evening, two of my students volunteered to come help me replace a couple of electric plugs in my house that were spoilt. They managed to install the plug for the washing machine in a short time and checked to see that it was working.  However there was one plug that did not function no matter how hard the boys tried to fix it.  Actually, the plug was already badly installed by the former electrician and the whole thing was actually coming apart. Before the boys came, the plug was already coming apart and the wires were were already peeping out.  It looked dangerous and that was why I bought a new plug to replace it.  I told the boys to stop as it might be dangerous.  I'd get the electrician who fixed my sensor lights to come fix it next week.
For your information, Azrul and Assri have undergone industrial traineeship last year.  Both boys trained under Mr Shan who specialised in installing and servicing air-conditioning units.  Besides changing the plugs, the boys also helped to clean the filters of my air-conditioning units.
Here Azrul is helping me to wipe the fan blades.
Assri is washing the filters.  He said they were rather clean.
After helping me out, I treated the boys to a meal at KFC Restaurant before sending them back to the hostel.
