Yesterday afternoon, I again went to collect mangoes from the tree near the school hostels. This time around I brought Balqis and Iffah who were on duty at the library. The fruits that had fallen to the ground were ripe compared to the greenish ones that the boys had picked the day before. The girls managed to pick a basin full of the fruits in a short while. The mangoes were again given to those who had gone to the library in the evening. As I had mentioned before, I hated to see the mangoes just go to waste lying on the ground. If my students and I made and effort, others can enjoy the fruits of our labour.
