PREVIEW OF WHAT'S IN STORE FOR THE DRAGON YEAR

Today is the last day of the dreaded seventh lunar month.  Tomorrow we enter into the eighth month of the Rabbit year.  So far the year of the Rabbit hasn't been a good..  We have seen a lot of natural disasters and calamities coupled with the financial downturn of the world.  In another 4 months, the not so mild mannered Rabbit would make an exit to make way for the entrance of the majestic dragon. So, what would the year of this Mythical Creature hold for us mere mortals?

The element for next year's dragon is earth and the year itself is a water year.  Is this good?  Hmm ... let's say that there will be good things as well as bad.   

Those born in the years of the Rat, Rooster and Monkey will enjoy a favourable year but not so for the Tiger, Ox and Dog which clashes with the Dragon.

• The number 6 star occupies the central palace.
• The Illness Star number 2 is at the North.
• The Five Yellow Star is in the Southeast.
• The number 4 star for education and romance is at the East.
• The number 8 Prosperity Star is at the West.
• The number 7 burglary star is at the Northwest.
• The number 9 star is at the Northeast.
• The number 1 star is at the South.
• The number 3 argumentative star is at the Southwest.

According to the Mayan calender the world would end on December 21, 2012 and there is the also the 2012 Armageddon prophecy which spells doom for the denizens of this earth.  But I have a feeling that these two prophecies may turn out nothing more than just hype.  Come December 22, 2012, the people might just wake up to find that the world is still there and that it is just another year.
