Yesterday was the eighteenth day my Muslim friends have fasted. They have about 11 more days to go. Unlike previous years, I did not visit the Ramadhan Bazaar every day. I felt that eating so much rich food might not be good for my health and so I ate vegetarian food instead.
However, I did go yesterday evening. Two of my students went along with me as I had promised to take them a couple of weeks ago. I notice that the girls have a fondness for chicken dishes. They even helped to pack Ayam Percik for their friends back at the hostel.
