1MALAYSIA PEOPLE'S BUS

I was following the Bas Rakyat Manjung or Manjung People's Bus the other day.  When we stopped at the traffic light, I whipped out my camera to take a picture of the rear view.
The 1Malaysia People's Bus Service is a RM4.3 million smart partnership between the Perak state government and Syarikat Bas GBP Corporation Sdn Bhd.  It is aimed at resolving the transportation dilemma of those who do not own a vehicle.

Not visible at the rear is the promotional message, 'Bandar Pelancongan dan Maritim' (Tourism and Maritime Town) by the side of the bus.  These buses ply the following routes Pantai Remis, Segari, Changkat Kruing, Simpang Empat Sitiawan, Lekir, Beruas, Lumut and Pasir Panjang.
So far I have yet to take a ride on this bus.  Perhaps, I will do so one of these days for the fun and thrill of it.
