BLESSED FLOWERS FOR A FLORAL BATH

The lady in the above picture was plucking different coloured chrysanthemums from a pail.  Devotees had brought the flowers as offerings for the Goddess Kuan Yin on her birthday.  On that day, there were many who brought flowers and so the volunteers would remove some of the flowers from the vases on the altar to make way for new flowers brought by other devotees.  The flowers that are removed would be placed in a pail and people are free to pluck the flowers to take back for a floral bath.  Since the flowers have been placed on the altar for Kuan Yin, they will naturally be blessed.

I did not want to lose out and got myself flowers of different colours for my floral bath.
