ONE MALAYSIA TANGLUNG

I was given the task of helping to D.I.Y. the 1Malaysia Tanglung or Lanterns that would be used for the opening ceremony of the Malaysian Schools Games this Friday.  80 of the boys from my school will be taking part in the opening ceremony.  The lanterns will be part of the ceremony.
I went and got the cardboard sized templates for the lanterns from the district education office in the morning and then my friends helped to cut and then glue the lanterns into shape.
Yeh!  I would be going to the Ipoh Stadium on Friday night and be able to witness the lovely sight of all the 1Malaysia lanterns.  10,000 students will be taking part and each school is making 7 lanterns.
