NOT AS ORDINARY AS THEY APPEAR TO BE

The above picture was taken during the PTA meeting in my school last Friday.  In the picture, you can see that the focus is on one of the school teachers.  At the background, you see a few parents and some students.  Well,  these people all look ordinary enough, right?  But then ask yourself, "Is everyone we meet on the street or at an event as ordinary as they appear?".
The man may be someone who has the ability to catch ghosts.  We can never really know, can we?
Those who are born with supernatural abilities to communicate with beings in another realm will not go around advertising the fact.  As a matter of fact, these people who have The Third Eye would most probably keep their ability a secret.  Also quite a number of people with Third Eyes or Yin Yang eyes would also have the ability to do healing or other supernatural stuff with help from their spirit friends.
My late sifu once told me that only fools would do something to anger or irritate people with such powers. Why? Because if they are incited, these people who are born with such abilities can also use them to teach a lesson to those who have wronged them.  Such a fool happened to insult my sifu when he was in his seventies.  One day when my seventy-something sifu was crossing the road, his legs gave way and he had to squat in the middle of the road.  A driver who was driving along, stopped on seeing the old guy there and instead of taking pity on the frail old man, he came out and scolded, "Hey, you old fool.  You want to die ah?.  Why are you blocking the road?"  After my sifu regained strength in his legs, he got up and uttered, "My legs gave way and that was why I was squatting in the middle of the road". Instead of being more understanding, the driver then uttered some obcenities and more insults.  Now that got my sifu angry and he banged on the bonnet of the car and said, "Do you know who I am?"  The man said no and made a wise crack.  The old man told him that he'd regret what he said that day.
Know what happened after that?  It seemed that after the incident, the rude driver was struck with paralysis and he could barely talk.  His family members who had heard him bragging about how he chastised a silly old man for blocking his road began to worry that his condition was due to what he did as the doctors could not do much for him and were equally baffled at why he could not move.  Before that, he was in perfect physical health.  They went back to the area where the man had seen the old guy and made enquiries which led them to find out the identity of my sifu.  It was then that they realised that their silly relative had insulted the most powerful Siamese sifu in Ipoh. The relatives lifted the guy up the staircase to my sifu's place and they had to kowtow and beg the old guy for forgiveness.  The paralysed guy was highly remorseful and was in tears when he begged for mercy from an old man whom he taught was insignificant.  If my memory does not fail me, these people came for more than a week and kept asking for forgiveness before the old guy finally removed the spell.  It was a lesson that the old man wanted to teach to an arrogant and rude person who bullied an old man who was in trouble.
The moral of my story is that an old man or an aunty that you meet on the road or at the market may look very ordinary but then they may be someone with extraordinary powers.  It would indeed be foolish to insult them and make them angry lest one be taught a painful lesson.
Hey, don't look at me.  I am just an ordinary Malaysian school teacher who loves blogging and taking photographs.
