What you see above is renovation work being done to the southwest sector of a house. Apparently, the owner is converting this part of the house into the kitchen
In Feng Shui, the Southwest is the sector that represents the Matriach. It brings love, relationship and marriage luck. If this sector is afflicted, young girls living in the house will find it difficult to find the right man. There are many cases of good looking, single girls who were no able to find themselves partners because the Southwest corner is missing or a toilet is lcoated there.
What about a kitchen in the Southwest then? As far as I know one should avoid having a kitchen in the southwest side or corner of the house or dwelling as one will have a difficult and bothersome relationship.
