What on earth is aura cleansing? First of all, let me talk about aura first. It is defined as a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding a person or object (like the halo or aureola in religious art). The depiction of such an aura often connotes a person of particular power or holiness.
However, what I am going to talk about is the auras that surrounds all living things (including humans) and I believe that all objects manifest such an aura. Our aura is with us 24/7 and besides getting good vibes it may also have absorbed lots of bad Chi.
What is needed once in a while is Aura Cleansing. Huh! Yeah! Aura Cleansing. This is a form of spiritual cleansing and healing to help heal, cleanse and repair damaged, dull and clouded Auras. Sometimes known as an Aura Healing, an Aura Cleansing can clean, brighten and heal an Aura.
Humans are born with clear, bright, glowing and vibrant Auras which attract positive energies to us and repels negative energies. Over time the Aura can get tinged and tainted with dark shadows or clouds attracting unwanted negative energies. This blemished Aura can leave you feeling stressed, tired, unbalanced, unhappy and depressed. It can also attract even more negative energies, negative and strained relationships, difficult and testing circumstances and general feelings of struggle and stress. Link
One of the methods I use to cleanse my aura on the 15th day of the lunar month is to use flower petals and leaves of citrus plants. Why this day? Because the fifteenth day is when the moon is at its fullest and there is something magical about it.
Here I used the flower petals of the Camellia, limau purut plus three types of citrus lime leaves for my aura cleansing.
- Place the flower petals of your choice such as rose, jasmine and chrysanthemim in water taken from a natural water source (e.g. spring, river, lake, stream) overnight. The purely natural water is great for cleansing and ideal for aura healing. The natural element of water is probably one of the most effective forms of spiritual healing.
- One can also make use of water which has been placed under the afternoon sun for at least 2 hours as the powerful sunlight will energise and cleanse ones aura.
- Adding Zam Zam water from Saudi Arabia to the bath would be even better. The Zam Zam wate4r is spring water the Muslims believe originates in heaven and is endowed with healing power.
- You can also combine the flower petals with sea salt for extra strength and potency.
- Remember not to pick the flowers and petals from the floor after you have finished bathing with them. Use a plastic bag to cover your hand or use a Tong to pick them out and immediately throw them into the dustbin outside your house.
