MY STONEHENGE PICTURES
When I was studying in England, I managed to visit the famous Stonehenge. This is supposed to be one of the Wonders of the World. So what is so great about a place with some slab of stones?
Hey! The iconic stone monument that you see in the pictures above were believed to be erected by man around 2500 B.C. (read Before Christ - yeah ... that loooong). It is said that the arrangement of the stones suggests that Stonehenge was used as a religious center and also as an astronomical observatory.
When I was there, some restoration work was underway and so we could only look at Stonehenge from a distance. Note the fence being put up.
