Rabbits must be very popular pets among the Malays as every time I go to the Farmer's Market, I see them being bought by them. Even my friends, Asiah and Khairah, rear them at home. Just this morning, I saw this Malay couple buying the grey coloured rabbit for their son (the one in the green tees) to keep as a pet. That is another rabbit sold. Hopefully, the little boy takes good care of the cute bunny and doesn't tire of it. My friend Asiah actually got her 2 rabbits from the family of her son's friend who gave them away with the excuse that they were moving to a house with a smaller compound. I am really glad that the furry rabbits saw their way to Asiah's home as she and her children are very loving people. With the care and nurture given by them the two rabbits are looking better than when they first got them and have even produced three new bunnies. AND the best thing is ... I get to go play with them after school. Heh! Heh!
