STROKING THE STONE TORTOISE FOR LUCK

In one of my previous posts about the Kuan Ti Temple located off Kuala Kangsar Road, I mentioned about a limestone formation which resembled a tortoise.  Well, this stone tortoise is revered by the Taoist worshippers who come to the temple to pray.
Below, my aunt and I show how to stroke the tortoise for good luck and fortune.

One starts from the top of the tortoise's head as demonstrated by Auntie Linda.
Then one moves the hand downwards to the neck.
Then progress to the shell.
Go all the way down the shell.
Until one reaches an egg like stone formation after the tail of the tortoise.
Remember to say out what one wish for while stroking the tortoise.
