My mum and aunt love looking at orchids and that is why whenever there is an Orchid Show or Exhibition in Ipoh, I make it a point to take them there. In conjunction with the Chinese New Year, the Perak Orchid Soceity is holding one such show at the TESCO Extra Carpark. It started on the 10th of February and will end on the 15th.
Looking at the pretty flowers certainly made both of them really happy. Of course, I snapped lots of pictures of the orchids. Pretty, arent' they?
By the way, in Feng Shui this beautiful flower is a symbol of fertility and a symbol of a quest for perfection in any areas of one's life.
