Besides the house, the Chinese nowadays also make sure that their cars are clean inside and out to welcome the new year. This practice is to wash away all the bad energies of the previous year so that the car would be spick and span and reenergised to perform for us for the coming year. When I sent my vehicle to the car wash this afternoon, there were many people there as well.
