BIG STATUE OF BUDDHA

The life-size statue of the Laughing Buddha greets visitors to a shop selling Hindu and Buddhist Statues, portraits and other Feng Shui items.  The shop called Trimurti is actually owned by a Chinese man.
I discovered the shop when I went looking for a statue of an elephant for my mum.  She had seen the one given to me by Sharveen as a housewarming gift and wanted one for our house in Ipoh.  Unfortunately, the golden elephant that I was looking for was not sold there.  However, I couldn't leave the shop without having my photo taken with the ever happy and smiling Laughing Buddha.  Yeah!  Hopefully, more happiness would come my way in future.
