DESERT ROSE

I am pretty sure that not many Chinese people would refer to the above plant as Desert Rose. To them this is a Feng Shui plant with an auspicious sounding name, Fu Kwai Fa which means Prosperity Flower.
Believe me, it is actually a ploy by the flower growers and florists to promote the sale of their plants.  As far as I am concerned it is just an ordinary plant without any wealth attracting or generating abilities.
