I must remember to wrap all the knives and sharp objects in my house before I move them to my new house. And also, these items should not be the first to be carried in when moving house as they are considered to possess very Yang Qi which is violent and fierce in nature. Therefore, carrying knives and other sharp pointed objects first is a taboo.
What one must do is to wrap all the knives, cleavers, scissors and other sharp objects in cloth or red paper and then place them inside a box before bringing them into the new house.
