MANJUNG OLD FOLK'S HOME

The Manjung Old Folk's Home at Desa Manjung Point is situated next to the Rumah Wawasan.  When we went to visit the Children at the Rumah Wawasan, Lai Yoong and I went over to the Old Folk's Home to check out the place.

There are 10 residents in this Home with one caretaker and one cook.

At 82, this is the oldest resident of the Home.  Wah!  Still so strong.  Walking around shirtless.

This uncle is 66 years old.

This Aunty was very hospitable.  She offered Lai Yoong and I drinks when we visited the place.  She looks youthful for her age which is 66.  I guess she must have been a real beauty in her youth.

Shirley (the caretaker of the Home) and two well-wishers who came and donated rice for the Home.  They also bought Pau for the old folks.
