A PLACE TO CALL MY OWN

After looking at quite a number of houses over a span of 10 years, I finally managed to buy one that I like.  Interestingly, Haji Hasnin also gave me the green light to buy it and so did Kamariah.  My mum and Aunt Linda fell it love with it at first sight.
From Haji Hasnin's point of view, the house was located in a neighbourhood where most of the people were professionals and all the houses were occupied by families, not 10 -1 2 foreign workers packed into a house.  Another reason was that my colleagues and friends, Daniel and his wife Umi bought a double storey house right behind mine.  Also in the same area was a former school clerk and another teacher, Jalal and his family.
In Kamariah's case, she said she had a good feeling about the house the moment she saw it. She helped me choose the house out of about 6 that were available.  Yes, when we buy a house, we should feel at ease and comfortable once we step into it. 
Me?  I loved it the moment I saw it.  Firstly, I liked the house number.  It had 6 and 9 in it.  Very auspicious.  Then there were other Feng Shui factors which were auspicious.  But what was most important was that I had a good feel for it.
