PAPAYA FLOWER BUDS AS ULAM

A while back I mistook the flowers for the coconut palm as that of papaya flowers.  When I brought it back to show my friends in school, they told me that it wasn't.  Then I happened to see the beauty above and managed to get a really close look at how papaya flowers look like.
For your information, the papaya flower bud  can be eaten as an ulam which means it can be eaten raw with cencaluk or sambal belacan as a dip but it takes a bit of getting used to as it is rather bitter.
