NASI KUNYIT AND ME

This was what I had for dinner last night.  Tempting, isn't it?  I like watching K-dramas and notice that they like to decorate their meals and thought I would jazz up my dinner too.  Like it?
I usually don't eat much rice as my late father's specialist advised my sisters and I to reduce our intake of carbohydrates and sugar as my dad suffered from renal failure.  As his offsprings, the three of us are at risk of getting diabetes and hypertension.  Anyway, I have a weakness when it comes to nasi kunyit or yellow glutinuous rice. I like to it eat with rendang but only with potatoes.  I don't mind if it is cooked with chicken, I will take the potatoes but not the meat.  I will eat a lot whenever I get the chance to eat it.
The rice and the dishes were delicious but then I think it is me.  I can't finish the glutinous rice.  Hmm ... could it be that I am getting older and my ability to wallop a lot of nasi kunyit has decreased.  Anyway, I will be keeping it in the fridge and eating it again tomorrow.
