HEONG PEAH


Heong Pang (in Cantonese), or Heang Peah (Hokkien) is one of Ipoh's famous biscuits.  When literally translated it becomes Fragrant Biscuit.  Visitors to Ipoh would usually buy a few packets of the biscuits back to give to their friends and relatives as souvenirs.

Hi Ms Cheah, I'm one of the biggest fan of heong peah. I love the crunchy skin and the sweet filling. My hometown here too have some famous ones.
