DOUBLE FIVE FESTIVAL

Today is the fifth day of the fifth Chinese Lunar Month.  On this day the Chinese celebrate the Double Five Festival or Dragon Boat Festival.  In places like Hong Kong and China, there will be Dragon Boat races.  Here in Malaysis we eat eat Zong Zi or Glutinuous rice dumplings.
In my family, my mum would try to make eggs stand at around noon time.  She says that the Chinese believe that eggs will stand more easily on this day.  See she was making the egg stand.
Actually we were busy having lunch with my sister and her family at that time.  Mum and I only remembered about the eggs in the evening.  Nevertheless, we still managed to make two eggs stand.
