In the Malay language Lepat or Lipat means wrapped. I bought different types of Lepat for the children at the Pondok last Thursday and took the pictures of the sellers at the Pasar Kampung Cina. The recipe uses coconut, fruits or veges (bananas, tapioca, pumpkin) and also, banana leaves. The different types on sale were Lepat Liat, Lepat Pisang, Lepat Ubi and Lepat Labu. For RM1.00, one can get 3.
