Blame the inability to score goals on everything else
BUT ... the ability of the players, their managers and coaches.
We are into the seventh day of the FIFA World Cup but to be honest there isn't much to shout about. It could be that most of the teams might be evenly matched or they are equally cautious. However, it is not what everyone has been sacrificing sleep for. We want Goals! Not lacklustre performances. We want to see at least a few teams that are way above the rest. Where is the Brazil of years ago? Where is the genius of Messi? Where is the magic of World Cups past?
If almost all of the matches are to turn in results of 1-1, 1-0 or 0-0. Then I better turn off the telly and get some sleep.
