DO NOT GO STRAIGHT HOME AFTER GOING FOR CHING MING

After we had visited the grave of my dad today, my mum, aunt and I did not go straight home.  Instead we went for lunch at Pizza Hut and then went shopping at Giant Hypermarket in Tambun.  Last year, we went  straight home after Ching Ming at Sam Poh Caves and my mum became very ill.  She was possessed by evil spirits and had to undergo and exorcism at a Buddhist temple to rid herself of the spirit that followed her home.
The Taoists believe that those whose life force is weak must not return immediately home ater going for Ching Ming at the cemetery as they can easily attract evil spirits.  Going straight home would inadvertently bring the spirits back to their abode.  Therefore, it is always wise to stop at a busy place where there are lots and lots of people, like a restaurant and shopping centre.  The Yang energy in such places are very strong and as a result the spirit will not be able to cling on to its intended target.
