I went to pay my respects to my father at the Paradise Memorial Park at Tanjung Rambutan today. Ching Ming is a type when the Chinese remember and venerate their ancestors. According to the teachings of Confucius, filial piety is very important. Ones genuine show of filial piety can touch the hearts of the Deities who can confer blessings on them.
