Feng shui enthusiasts believe that the circular movement of fish attract good energy to the home and garden. More so if there are 8 or 9 fish in the pond. Also those who rear Koi in their garden ponds would try to add a black koi as it is considered lucky and is also believed to absorb bad luck.
