Each time I find that my workspace at home or in school is cluttered and filled to the brim with files, paper and other stuff, I feel stressed. Actually, all the files represent the work that needs to be done. Similarly the paper and other stuff might also be reminders of things that are pending and need attending. Once my mind sees all of them, I feel that there is a great weight on me.
What do I do? Sort, organise and discard. Yes! I would first sort the things that are important and then organise them by place them neatly on a shelf or on the corner of the table. The most urgent ones would be on top and the least urgent at the bottom. Then the papers or things that are not needed are discarded. In such a way, I feel less stressed and at the same time the orderly situation helps me to feel more secure and calm.
Try it! This is actually a Feng Shui way to organise your environment so that you will be able to live happier and healthier.
