WIN WIN SITUATION

As mentioned in a few of my previous posts, my nephew, Kristofer came on a holiday from Singapore with his family. He had actually wanted to stay on until the 19th of December after I had finished attending a four day meeting next week. Then I would accompany him home. Unfortunately, there was a change of plan as my mum and I felt that he would feel bored next week as my meetings would be from 8.00 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. and I only reach home at around 5.00 p.m. Besides, his grandma hasn't been feeling too well lately. It would not be much fun for him. He actually said he wanted to spend time with his grandma and insisted that he'd be okay staying at home with her. When he left for Singapore this afternoon, he had on a very sad and disappointed look. Wouldn't even let me hug him. Sigh!!! What to do? Duty always comes first.
Anyway, I will be going to Singapore next Friday to visit Kris and his family. I promised my little darling that I'd be bringing a big, juicy pomelo for him all the way from Tambun. When he heard that he was happy again and said he'd bring his Yee Yee to some of the tourist spots in his country. There I get to go for a holiday down South and at the same time cheer Kris up. That's a win-win situation.
