My colleagues and I attended a course on Strategic Management today. The course was organised as part of the Staff Development Programme for the school. Many years ago, people used to say that teachers get to enjoy a lot of holidays but it is a different situation nowadays. We need to constantly learn new things in order to do our jobs well. And so it is not unusual if teachers are called to attend courses, workshops and other forms of training during the weekends and also school holidays.
