PEACOCKS

I noticed that the peacock is one of the popular designs used for Diwali. To the Hindus, the peacock symbolizes the qualities like beauty, elegance, pride, delight, spirituality and mysticism.

In Feng Shui, these beautiful birds symbolize romance because of the fact that the male will do a dance to entice the female to unite with him. Those who believe in symbolic Feng Shui would, put a figurine of a peacock in the marriage sector in the Southwest of ones home to enhance that sector. The figurine may also be put in the Southwest corner of your bedroom. Peacocks are also symbolic of success because of it's association with the Celestial Phoenix.
