PYRAMID AND SQUARE SHAPED WATERMELONS

Look at the watermelons in the pictures above. We certainly won't get those here. They are grown using a certain technique whereby the fruit which is growing is placed inside a square or pyramid shaped box and as the fruit grows it would be forced to take the shape of the container. Again these unique shaped fruits are cultivated in The Land of the Rising Sun and cost a few hundred US dollars each.

Aiyoh! So much money for just a watermelon. If for me I think it is better to donate the money for victims of the earthquake or cyclone. Also the cost of buying one fruit would be enough to feed two or three poor families in a Third World Country.
