FIRST DAY OF 2008

Hi! It's 11.00 p.m. at the moment I am writing this. That means 23 hours of the first day of 2008 has almost past. Besides a bit of sensational news about a prominent Malaysian figure, there is nothing really interesting. The good news is there was no announcement of a price hike in petrol. So that is good news.
I hope that you have made your resolutions and will work at realising them. One of my friends told me that one of her resolves was to ensure that she lead a healthy lifestyle. This to me is one of the most practical resolutions all of us should have in our list. Without good health, all the wealth in the world will become meaningless.
How did you spend the first day of the year? Me? A lot of time was spent sending text messages to my friends, colleagues and relatives. I wanted to send new year wishes to those dear to me to kickstart the year. Most importantly, I spent the day with the most precious person to me, my mum. We did not do anything interesting but just went out for our meals and went shopping together. What mattered was I was able to spend time with her. Oh before I forget! My mum and I also took pictures of each other on 1st January as keepsakes. I am posting a few of my photos here.
