PRAYERS

I talked about the four-leaf clover bringing luck in my previous post but let me tell you something that is more potent than all the lucky charms on earth. It is none other than prayers. I believe that if we pray with a sincere heart and with all earnestness, our prayers will be answered most of the time. Of course, we also need to put in some effort as well. Say if my nephew, Benjamin, prays to God in the hope of getting straight As, he needs to study and work hard. All the prayers in the world will not work if there is no effort.

Today, I went to the Siamese temple near my house to pray that my nephew, Jeremy, will do well for all his papers in his examination. His SPM examination starts tomorrow.
