I haven't been able to do much blogging recently as i had been under the weather. This has to do with the extremely hot and dry weather caused by a phenomenon called El Nino. The air conditioning in the library were not functioning and this made the library very hot and stuffy in the morning. As the day progresses, the heat gets worse. I usually end up with a headache by midday and have to use an ice pack to relieve the pain at the back of my head.
Hopefully better weather is ahead. My colleagues, students and I are suffering. Quite a number of us have become ill. I have a nasty sore throat which has turned into a terrible cough.
