The #5 Yellow Wu Wang (in 2016 landing in the Northeast) is considered the most dreaded flying star of all. It is believed to bring threats of misfortune, negativity, accidents and loss. When someone lives or works in a sector that is touched by the #5 Yellow, it’s said they need to be aware of problems both financially and in relationships. True feng shui believers advise anyone afflicted by the #5 Yellow to stay away from any rooms affected by it. If a bed or bedroom is located in the Northeast, consider changing to another bedroom this year, or moving the bed in a different location.

At the very least, place strong feng shui cures in the Northeast corner. The Northeast sector should remain as quiet as possible during 2016. Shut out noise by keeping doors and windows closed as much as possible, avoid playing loud music in this area, and change the location of the television away from the Northeast corner because of the noise it might produce. It is advised to avoid digging or major pruning in the garden in the Northeast, and if you are planning to begin renovation in the Northeast of your home or garden, it cannot be stressed enough that this is ill-advised. It is said that doing this could leave someone open to the negative effects of the Five Yellow, including accidents or loss. If you can move out during renovation, this is a possible way to avoid the negativity.

Those born in the year of the Ox or Tiger and the youngest son are afflicted by the five yellow in 2016.
