I have a colleague whose house has a straight road facing his entrance. Now this is bad news .Anything long and straight aimed at a home or building can be classified as a poison arrow.  In Feng Shui terms, the straighter and longer the poison arrow, the more serious the negative effect will have on the fate and fortune of the occupants of the home or building.
Usually this type of straight road that forms an arrow will join another road at a 90° angle. As I have mentioned before, many Chinese (and even Malays and Indians in Malaysia)  know that it is not good to live in a house that stands at a T-junction or intersection since the killing Chi which hits at the house will be like “tigers in the night” attacking the residents. The effect will be even more deadly if the main door of the house directly faces the road.
