A week ago, the Air Pollution Index in the Manjung district (where I live and work) was more than 250. Now this is really unhealthy. On Tuesday, we had to go around wearing face masks. Later in the day, schools in the district were ordered to close on Wednesday because of the bad air. In the early hours of Wednesday, there was a heavy downpour. By the time I woke at 7 a.m., the air was fresh and it was clear. However, we still had a holiday but have to replace it on a Saturday.
