HERBAL DRINK FROM OYSTER PLANT






Work starts again today.. Unlike normal schools, we at vocational colleges only take a one week break. Yesterday I went and plucked the flowers from the Oyster Plant (kerang nanas) to make a herbal drink for my students and colleagues. My boys love this drink. It has health benefits like detox and reducing heatiness. It is also very delicious. Tastes a bit like sugar can drink.
I got the oyster plant flowers from my Aunt Linda's 82 year old neighbour.  This uncle has very green fingers and he planted as mini herb garden at the plot of land outside his house.
