I made these Japanese dolls wearing Batik Kimonos for the college gallery. Some have asked me why I did not make dolls wearing Batik baju kurung or baju kebaya. My answer is that people are used to seeing batik used on these types of clothings. Now to have batik used on kimonos is something different.
