Yesterday was Thaipusam and also a public holiday. So Lai Yoong and I could go visit the children at the Sitiawan Vision Home. We had made an appointment with their caretaker, Miss Saundari to have tea. We bought fried noodles, cakes, doughnuts and curry puffs plus chrysanthemum tea for everyone. As Chinese New Year is coming, we also gave angpows to them. So this could be considered an early Chinese New Year celebration with them. The both of us plan to celebrate our birthdays there this year. Luckily both our birthdays are in April.
